A 7-month-old girl is dead after she was left inside a vehicle outside a Ulysses hospital for an extended amount of time Thursday.

Ulysses Police Chief Alan Olsen says police were called to Bob Wilson Hospital for the death of an infant at 4:55pm. He says Kynadee Boese
was left inside a vehicle at the hospital.

An autopsy is scheduled for today, but they results are not available yet.

Temperatures reached 90 degrees in the southwest Kansas town.

Ulysses Police, KBI and the Grant County Attorney's office are investigating. Olsen won't say yet who left the child in the car.
