JOHN ZICKEFOOSE, known as Mr. Z., is the Community Liaison for the City of Corona. He is a popular storyteller for The Corona Public Library children's reading program. John has become an active literacy advocate, not only for Corona's program but for state and national as well. He has appeared on television on ABC, NBC, CNN, and PBS, and has given numerous radio and print interviews on the subject of literacy.

Locally, he is on the advisory board for Alternatives to Domestic Violence (ADV) and president and founder of UNITY (United Neighbors Involving Today's Youth) a coalition of over sixty-five public and private agencies serving the greater Corona-Norco area. Married to his wife Eileen for twenty wonderful years and is the proud father of two boys, Shawn and Adam.
