A Nashua, N.H., man faces criminal charges for leaving a baby in a hot car.

Police say 30-year-old Abdul Palabiyik left the infant in his car for at least 15 minutes yesterday before police found him a a nearby store.

When officers removed the baby, the child was sweating profusely and was extremely distraught.

The father was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. He was released on bail and will be in court May 21.
