He was in critical condition at Children's
Hospital in
Sgt. John Urquhart said the father was
baby-sitting four kids Monday afternoon. When he checked on them he discovered
the boy had wandered away.
The boy apparently climbed in the closed car
and was overcome by the heat, which hovered around 80 degrees. He was found
about an hour later, unconscious in his car seat.
The father placed him in a bathtub to cool
down before medics arrived.

The boy was found
in the sedan.
Police advise parents to keep cars locked at
all times, and to keep a closer eye on children.
They said they do not expect to file any
charges against the father.

An ambulance responded to the call at a
private home in

The King County Sheriff's office said the boy was inside for more than an hour.

arrived, the man had placed his son in a bathtub to bring the boy's body
temperature down. Urquhart said the boy's condition possibly was life
threatening, but no further information was available from the hospital. The man told deputies he believed his son
had been in the car for about an hour. The air temperature was about 78

in the car or if the father knew his son was in the car before he found him
