What do you think of 38 schools districts in the nation starting classes later because of studies that say it will improve students' attendance and academic performance?
If it can lower student depression, drop-out rates and the frequency of teen car accidents like scientists say, I'm all for it.
I hope they don't do this locally. I have to be at work by 8 a.m. I wouldn't be able to get my child to school.
Students may show signs of alertness at first, but eventually, they'll adjust and be tired again. What then, move school back another hour?
Give me a break! Make them get their rears in gear in the morning and quit letting school administrators baby them.
