Miller parent Katrina Shedden has brought to PTA's attention an organization called 4 R Kids Sake. This organization came into being following the tragic death of a baby last August who was inadvertently left sleeping for hours in a closed hot car. Unfortunately, tragedies like these occur every year, not just to children but to pets as well. 4 R Kids Sake is trying to collect enough signatures to send a message to auto makers to install an audible alarm that will sound if a child is left in the back seat of a car. Katrina will be at the next PTA meeting in January and hopes that we will all sign her petition. No addresses or phone numbers are required.
